About EV Rush
What is EV Rush?
EV Rush is a free endless-highway arcade racer that runs entirely in your web browser — no download, no install, no account needed. You drive a prototype electric sports car down an endless neon highway: dodge the traffic, thread tight gaps for near-miss bonuses, and collect glowing battery cells to push your score higher. The speed keeps rising the longer you survive. Your best score is saved on your own device, so you can always chase a new record.
Everything in the game — the road, the cars, the effects, the sounds — is drawn and generated in code (HTML5 Canvas and WebAudio). There are no stock images, no copied assets, and no real-world car brands anywhere in the game.
Who made it?
EV Rush was designed and built by Ritik Raj, a student developer from Greater Noida, India, currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science & Information Technology. He builds AI projects, web apps, and games — and EV Rush is his first published browser game.
Why was it built?
- Love of arcade games — the simple, one-more-run feeling of classic endless racers.
- Learning game development — a complete game loop: input, physics, difficulty ramping, scoring, and sound, all in plain JavaScript.
- The EV theme — electric vehicles are the future of the road, so the game celebrates them: battery pickups, a silent-but-fast electric sports car, and a neon night highway.
- Free for everyone — built to be played instantly in any modern browser, on desktop or mobile.
Technology
The game is a single self-contained web page built with HTML5 Canvas, vanilla JavaScript, and the WebAudio API. It works offline once loaded and runs on any modern desktop or mobile browser.
